Our Mini 425 Ocean

Eric I like that rock.He has some nice design .I am glad to see the tank is coming along.Try to get it done before your wife gives birth or else your spending habits will have to change and you may end up waiting longer than you think. The kid will always come first.

pcostanzo - Thanks bro you the man..

Walter - Welcome to RC and welcome aboard.

tattooreef- Thanks Yeah. I started my build in July and have already been out of town about 6 weeks. When I get back I am going to start cranking.

steve the plumb- You aint kiddin. I put some floors and painted his room and it was like $700. There went my controller. hahahah. I want to have water in it by Thanksgiving. Like you said it will be up and I will probally only be able to keep it up forget about livestock. No rush. He will soon be #1.

Very nice build so far!

I stumbled on to your thread from another and I'm jumping aboard. Since I'm planning an in-wall tank almost identical to yours (smaller scale - 195gal), this is all very helpful.

Welcome aboard Antigua, and welcome to RC. There are a lot of nice in wall tank threads here you should be able to get some good info and ideas. I did..

Thanks Paul.

new_world_disor

Thanks. I think i am ready to get things moving myself. I want to have water in it by Thanksgiving.

Nice Setup so far! I just read your whole thread... good info here . I liked your very first post. I have just barely restrained myself from showing the masking tape rectangle on my wall and unopened equipment boxes... which is as far as I have gone thus far!

hey erics3000 where are the updates man? actually i was just hoping that everything is going well , since i havnt seen you on my thread or on yours

Hi all. I am back from my trips. I had a great time.

I started setting up my sons room and got that out of the way. I will be posting some pics soon. I came home to a few little goodies. I also just found out pro flo has a mini controller. I need to do some research.

Cutnup = I am on ORCA member of Orlando but only made it to 1 meeting. What is BARS.

tattoreef = Everything is going good thanks for asking. I had a baby shower when I got back and had to work on the little ones room. Works has been a little hectic since I got back too.

I am ready to get some plumbing going. No more excuses... I hope to get water in the tank by the end of the month. I want ot get things moving before my little one pops out.

PICS coming soon.

All right Eric, glad you're back and ready to go to it. I'm also getting ready for my plumbing but need to build more stands and drill some tanks before that starts. If you need any help with the reflectors - just give me a PM.

Thanks Carol....I am stuck working late tonight. I really want this tank to have a calcium reactor as soon as it comes up. That will be my next little project.

Ya, once you seed those dry rock you will want the Ca up so your coraline will grow. Before I was able to get mine built I started dosing with Ca only because my Alk was off the chart and Ca was only 350. I wanted to get it balanced before switching to the reactor.

hey erics nice to see you back. trust me i know about doing for the little ones, hell my sons bout to turn eight and im still running ragged for him, so get used to it, lol. and its odd you talking about cal reactors, im waitng on mine to be delivered any day now, but instead of building it i purchased the big dual chamber one from pacific coast, and am currently trying to figure out my neptune controller. and if you havnt checked it lately there were some halfway recent pics posted on my thread.
