Out with the old, in with the new.

Ok I spent all weekend moving stuff from the old tank to the new tank. So far all looks good. I still need to finish a few things this week along with some changes I have made. I am going to setup a 55g in the fish room and fill it with cheato and other algae. I will post pic on the once I get it up and running, but for now here are some new pics.

How big is that clam? I suspect it is huge, because it even looks big in that huge tank! Looks great, keep us all posted.

Thanks. He is 13.5" long right now. I know he will take off once I get my calcium reactor built and dialed in. I can't wait to get it all done and start enjoying everything. I am also looking forward to hitting up some local shops to get some new frags.:)

Here are some updated shots from tonight. The corals are starting to color back up and the small cycle seams to be over. I am gonna watch it for a little while longer then get some new fish and corals.

I also finished the water mixing can.

The 55g algae tank is also up and running. I had the same setup on my 240 and it worked great. I plan on having different algae to not only filter out phosphates but also grow some tang food.
