owenspackmans 180 Reef upgrade build.

Tank looks fantastic. Love those hydra. What is the blue stony 4 down third row from left?

thanks Sonic! So, it could be any of them depending on the photo!

Are you referring to the one that's 3rd row from left, but 6th and 8th down in this photo?

If so, it's actually a little greener in person, it was completely bleached but is coming back, has a great green and orange hue coming to it. They were ebay purchases, they were called 'Blueberry N Lime Tenius Acropora'.

If you're not referring to that one, let me know where it is in this photo!

ah! so it didn't change position! It's a Raspberry Milli, it's one of the new ones i received last week, here the photo from the seller. It's much more red in person than the iPhone captured.

but of course... lol i am looking for a raspberry mili and an Oregon tort, I am going to have to have you send it my way asap..lol

not sure how i missed the hydroponics table build but that is awesome, once in a while i will pull out my ghetto setup and grow tomatoes and cucumbers in my setup, it's just 4 5 gallon buckets with net pots. no ebb and surge, the roots stay in the water soaking up nutrients. damn delicious veggies!

Thanks Sonic! I'm just glad the thing is up and running! The frags looked beautiful and happy under the hydra this morning!

Thanks Wayne!

I've not had much chance to play with the Hydra but initially I'm impressed! And pleased with my colors just hoping the browner guys start to color up too!

let me know if you have any questions on the hydras I have been playing with them since pre-release and I'm pretty good with the color spectrum right now.

So what's your verdict on the RedSea Color program?

Hey David

I've been happy with it so far. I really started to notice a increase in color on the new coral growth. I stopped using for a week or so along with ReefEnergy to stop a potential hair algae battle (which I won) and I noticed my colors decline in that time. I have started dosing again since the, I dose daily and do not miss dosing's. I dose about 3-4ml a day of A-D.

I won't make my final decision on it until my 500ml of each bottle is up. Then I will make a decision whether to continue or not!

I took some photos of the frags in the frag tank with the SLR yesterday and they ALL sucked. Really need a Macro Lens!

So today I took some quick shots with my iPhone. Turned off the blues, these were taken under the Hydra with the UV, Violet and White.

Great tanks. I was looking into the hydroponics trays as well for a frag tank and I am glad I found someone who is using it. Love your attention to detail, and that killer garage. Thanks for all the details. I am learning a lot.
