Owners Thread: Innovative Marine Fusion 40

Do you have a recommendation for a wifi adaptor!? Mother's Day is coming :)

I run the apple express. Super easy to set up and had no issues at all. I run fios for home internet. It really is plug and play. Buy a 50 ft Ethernet cable for firmware updates

Yea. I dealt with them on the ghost. Very nice guys. Glad you got it worked out. Hopefully it won't be too long!

At least the time isn't completely wasted. Have my other pukani rock that was dry sitting in a bucket with salt water, heater and power head and I'm adding ammonia. It has been in there about 3-4 weeks now so will have live rock by the time it goes into tank since fish and corals will have to go over fairly quickly.

At least this way it's all live rock, live Sand (plus a little from old tank) and filter sponge that has been soaking in the tank for a while to collect bacteria

Just went from the Radion XR15w to an ATI 6x24 Dimmable T5.
This unit covers the perfect area of the DT for the Fusion 40

Harder to get a true color with editing out all the blue. The higher up corals are a lot prettier than they look lol.

Any special reason that you switched? Better SPS growth?

I wasn't getting the coverage I was with the Xr15w.
I changed the puck to the wide lens, and the Radion ended up spazzing out on me. Alex at EcoTech, great guy, sent me a brand new one.
While that, I was using a friends T5 4-Bulb to see if I wanted to buy it and supplement with that. Realizing how much spread, coloration (yes in that small amount of time) and polyp extension, I realized T5 would be better, especially for SPS dominant. Lucked out and happened to find one for sale.

Nothing wrong with the XR15, or Radion in general. If I had the money, I would've dropped it on a full size Radion G3 Pro.
Though decided to go with the tried-and-true method.

This should be interesting to follow! Have you seen more evap with this setup? Can't wait to see this six months from now! Very cool move!

Hope everyones doing great!
Still cycling my tank and waiting patiently.
I lost maybe .5 to 1.0 liters of water due to evaporation, so Ive been researching some ATO.
This is what I've came across:
1) Avast ATO- $80~
no pump included
2) JBJ ATO- $70~
no pump included
3) IM Hydro ATO $90~
with a pump

I actually have two pumps a JBJ 1200 (i think) and another stock pump. So, I dont think i need to purchase another pump
Any feedback on the above will be great.

Thought the IM Ato was about $200 complete.. I don't believe it comes with a pump.. I used the tunze nano on mine.. Have had Ozmolator's forever and trust them, although the nano is not even close to the same as the original Ozmolator.. It's pretty accurate though and form factor it's small.. Got mine for $98 on amazon

Same, it's been working great - the motor is noisy when it does come on though.

Your right, the pump is $99, and the controller is $198

Controller.
Guess I'll scratch this one of the list 😔

Tunze nano osmolator. Good support. Great product. Very small imprint in sump. It works. And when it doesn't, they support it!
don't over complicate an ato.
you don't want a lot of sensors in the sump. There isn't a whole lot of room.

+1. Once you add an apex, dosing tubes.. you are going to start to get crowded in there! Tunze is a great company and has a fail safe sensor as well.

Here is the one I am using, I love it... It has some nice safety features and a pump included for $100

Hey Everyone...
I just wanted to share an update of my tank after my disaster !
Everyone Is doing well and my numbers are great, I did have a small spike in Nitrite but it only lasted a day. Since then everything has been rock solid. I did a water change and I am planning one again this weekend

I am looking for some suggestions for additional fish to add to the tank, Any Ideas? I am planning for future additions, nothing being added for at least a month

Currently I have...
2 Clowns
1 Bi-color Blenny ( He is a rip.. My wife loves him)
1 Clown Goby
1 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Damsel ( Want to get rid of him, he is a bully)

Someday I want to add a Mandarine Goby!

Thanks guys! I'll keep looking around
Just checked my water and its sitting at 0.
0 Ammonia
0 Nitrite
0 Nitrate

Go another few days to make sure! Ghost feed a little more and see what happens. If it converts back to 0 in a day or two, you are good to go.
