OzATL's 1000g Display Build Thread

1000 watt MH, great choice!!!! what is the MRC Reactor #2 DiNitrator? what kind of Dinitrator?

I just went back and re-read how you got this massive GLASS tank into the house with only six people. You sir, are a genius.

I would assume once the tank was rolled into the house, you used either one or two air conditioning hoysts to raise the tank into position, once the forks of the hoyst system was underneath your massive skate board?

Bye the way, your setup is simply amazing,
Randy

I converted a smaller MRC CR-6 into a dual chambered dintrator, working great so far.

OMG!!! I think I'm in love! Haha

I may have picture of it but to fit it in the double doorway we rolled it in on it's front face. Then with 6 guys and a bunch of scution cups tilted it back to the stand and lifted the front. We used leveage for sure as it was mounted on 2 sheets of plywood. It wasn't easy but we were able to tilt it back enough to use the stand as the back side "holder".

New display plumbed into the existing holding system for a few weeks....added over 800 lbs of sand:

Then a few weeks later, I started moving the rock and fish to their new home.....

This is simply amazing!
