just got my red sea 100 mg unit installed on the 180 will be interesting to see the changes. Started with an orp at 225 running unit at about .3 mg/hr after a couple hours orp is steadly rising now at 229 will log daily changes and post results for those interested

There was a light ozone smell from skimmer built a carbon chamber for air exiting the skimmer and installed on waste container vent, seemed to stop smell. Checked tank this A.M. orp up to 250 skimmer is simmering (flat), did note chevron tang acting strange hovering low on sand bed. I droped to 50mg/hr and set orp to 250 to shut unit down (stabilize for now) hope tang will be ok maybe it was just the initial shock of turning on the lights

new school probe is in sump by the return pump intake opposite the skimmer return and carbon

Bryan,
Just a comment on the ORP probe, they very often take about a week of being in the tank to give you the true reading (not sure why this is, but all manufacturers will comment to this end).
You really shouldn't notice an affect on the fish by increasing ORP, most common issue is corals affected by increased light penetration by lights as the water clears beautifully! :)
I was shocked when adding ozone to my tank a year ago or so how clear the water got!!.

the probe has been in for a week when I got it I put it in the tank without the unit Im not sure if that makes a differance or not, but I figured if the reading was stable it was O.K.

orp is at 290 had to bring skimmer water level up seems the addition of the ozone flattened the production of foam no real noticible differance in clarity yet.
Chevron seems ok as well as all other inhabitants, will do water change this weekend and see how orp is effected
