Yes. In windows pair the dose with the laptop and set it up as a serial connection. Be sure the Com port that you set it up on is running in windows device manager. Then you can go into the dosing software and choose the appropriate Com port.

I'm not used to PCs anymore. So I tried to pair with the doser through the pacsun software and it doesn't find the doser. I don't see anything regarding Bluetooth in the control panel of the computer. The Mac was easy and has a Bluetooth icon in your applications and you can see what devices it's picking up right from there.

Sorry for my stupidity by the way. I know this is prob an easy thing for most of you.

Can anyone explain this?

Haven't been connected to the doser in a few days

That kind of info on LCD mean that doser is waiting for programming commands from computer.
It mean that you not finished connection session with doser last time using Disconnect button.
Now you can simply turn it on/off from power supply or connect with doser - and disconnect again(this message will dissapear)

I'm sorry Przemek....but this application is the most cumbersome and unresponsive application I have ever used.

Buttons will not respond when they are clicked
I receive no confirmation when dosing setting have been saved.
I turned off dosing pumps and they are still running

Anytime I connect to my doser via bluetooth, my setting should be saved in the application and I shouldn't have to constantly hit read to see what settings are in there. There should be one save button instead of 5 to eliminate the possibility of missing one of the buttons and again, some sort of confirmation that settings have been saved.

i bought AWC module the is 2 dc pump and 2 pine inside box
i set it up and make a try but its hard to use my problems is
1) there is no check valve in the box so waste out pump is syphon tank water from sump so this is very big crisis and risk for aquarium .
2) there is no option to calibrate 2. dc pump so first pumps flow rate and 1. pumps floow rate is diffferent .
why you dont check this issues before selling this product?
is there any solves for this problems ?
and why you dont have any videos or tutorial for your modules ?
i was thinking to buy your lighting fixtures but now start to think again :(

I was about to order the auto change pumps but if there is no cal that will be an issue. You need to plumb the drain pump with an air break so it won't syphon.

Alright...i'm going to try and keep my cool here....

I have doser number 4 set to C5 at 5ml for my acropower, start dosing at 11:15pm

Please....Please tell me what that setting should do?

I don't understand the 1st problem. You are pumping water out of your sump but have the end of the hose in the waste container and under the water level?

As for part 2, you need to read the box that is next to the AWC menu. It tells u that the ATO is turned off when doing AWC n the optical sensor is used to turn OFF pump 2 when it reaches the level. This ensures that the new water pumped in is the same as pumped out since that level should be at the optical sensor controlled level anyway.

That should dose 5 times every hour for 5 hours starting @ 11.15pm totally 5ml

Is that what you are trying to achieve?

I don't understand what you are asking. You have it set for C5 @ 5ml start at 11.15pm. What other setting are you asking for?

Nvm just retread your question

That should dose 5 times every hour for 5 hours starting @ 11.15pm totally 5ml

YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT IT REALLY DID?!?!?

And trust me it says 5ml and says it will dose it 5 times 1ml each time.

It dosed over 600ML's of Acropower!!!!!

I can't take it anymore...this doser has killed more corals in my tank than I care to mention.

Did u calibrate the head? Did u save the calibration? Did you test the calibration? Did you manually dose 5ml to see how much it actually dosed?

Yes, yes and yes

The dosing motor doesnt fully pinch off the line so the liquid just kept dripping all night. I haven't touched the lines inside the motor at all.

I'm so fed up with this unit.

That should be a very slow drip if you have the dosing container sitting much higher than the end of the output line to induce a siphon.

Is your unit white? You should just box it up and send it to me! ;)

My unit is white...It shouldn't matter where the doser is situated, the rollers should be pinching the line to stop any siphons. In my case its about 8 inches above my sump.

You can buy it off me if you really want it...I so wanted this doser to work out...

It does matter where the containers are. Even units like the DOS have flooded tanks with stuff when the containers were higher then the unit.
