Pacific Sun Kore 5th dosing Fan Club

Actual dosers not include floating sensors - only opticals. Also newest software not support floating sensors anymore.
Be sure that you are using latest software available for that doser(not previous one used with your old one). Remove all previous bluetooth devices and discover new one.
It's hard to say what is wrong with your "old' dozer - maybe power supply malfunction ?
Please catch our service@pacific-sun.eu for advanced troubleshooting if above will not help - they can connect remotely with you and check your dozer settings(where problem is placed)

Regards

Place the optical sensor at the level you want the water level to be, it shuts off when the optical sensor is about half submerged.

iOS as only one operation system not support RFCOMM/Serial communication profiles.
It's supported by their Mac OS, Windows, Android, all mobile Windows systems(surface etc) but not by iOS - so it's not possible to write app working under iOS.

The issue may have been created by me. Generally from what was explained that this may have been caused by plugging an item in one of the back ports without turning the unit off first. I may have done this when trying to set up the optical sensor.

I don't view plugging something into the unit without first turning the unit off as a user error.

So you are now writing apps with limited functionality for Mac, Android, Windows and Windows Mobile? That sounds like a lot of work.

Yea... I am not going to worry about it now. It's probably in the doc somewhere...
It's fixed, been working as needed. Only dosing 2 part.
I am not sure if I want to try doing anything else with it. I am happy that I am not manually dosing for now.

Maybe in another six months I look at doing water change.

Since I got mine working ok I haven't even updated the firmware or software... I don't even really want to look at it in case something goes wrong!

Limited functionality will have only Android (only basic adjustment - dosing amount, channel on/off, liquid level checking/refilling bottles etc)

Wife and I came home from a movie, went to look over aquarium and temperature alarm was going off on the Kore 5th. Looked at the Apex display and sure enough the temp dropped. One of my heaters went out... So the Kore 5th was letting me know as it should.

I have the Apex to give me an email/phone warning when it is a bit lower. So a check in the plus column for the Kore 5th for this initial warning notification.

In search of a Pacific Sun Doser. Used or refurbished is fine as long as it works. Open to different versions of it. Thank you in advance

Maybe new one for 349,00 USD and full two years warranty is not bad idea?
That dosers are available in USA Distributor stock(and very soon at some well known shops - like Premium Aquatics, SaltwaterAquarium.com etc)

Kore 5th Android app delayed? I personally dont care about the app but the promised firmware fix for the broken DC AWC functionality.
