Currently in the process of looking for a skimmer for the tank. probably going to go with an internal skimmer as I dont have a lot of room on the back with the overflow in the center and then the 2 pipes holding up the light. I have found quite a few skimmers that are small and have been considering the Tunze 9002 and CAD lights nano skimmer.

Settled on a Tunze 9002 since it should fit into the aquarium and not be too noticeable. Should be here by the end of the week.

I added a Tunze 9002 to the tank as well as finally putting on a black backer to hide the pipe and wires. I had to cut a hole in the foam so my mp10 could still mount to the back wall.

Are your colors coming in nicer now that you've had the skimmer a little longer?

Yeah I am seeing several pieces starting to get their colors back since adding the skimmer.

Got some new pictures yet again. More top down shots to give a better idea of color on some of these pieces and the pictures aren't totally washed out in purple like with a FTS.

New tank residents, picked up right before christmas. Pygmy cherub angel, yellow coris wrasse. There are 2 other fish in my tank with them, a banggai cardinal and pj cardinal.

I recently took apart my led fixture to remove 2 warm white leds that I really wasnt fond of so I swapped them for cool white leds instead. So far just by looking at the tank I can notice a difference and the tank has less of a purple glow.

Thanks Joe. That sour apple is getting to close to the glass. Starting to hit it when I use the mag cleaner.

Radion just arrived today and its already up and running. Man these fixtures are nice and I didnt realize how small and lightweight they were.

First one lasted 8 months, second lasted a little over 5 months, so your close to your estimate lol. I have a feeling I will be keeping this fixture for quite a while though.
