Started with an Acan and he was very specific that you needed to use only the most delicate of instruments!!
Then he moved on to a Sinularia I believe
(I could be wrong but it appeared to be a finger leather of some type)
or’derbs anyone: as he skewered the frag onto a toothpick.
He then attaches the toothpick with little rubber bands to a frag plug, pretty slick!!
He then gave a short demo on slicing a mushroom to frag it while it is attached!!
Well I hope that I did not bore everyone to tears with my photos, but I hope it gave those that could not make it a little to see that they missed and hope that they will come out to the next meeting.
Uh can someone photoshop in the gloves and safety goggles I should have had on? One thing I forgot to address last night, was safety when fragging. Many of the corals are toxic so it is important to take necessary precautions such as wearing latex gloves, and safety googles.
No, I got the tanks from Richard and Andy. I still have about 11 of them waiting to be set up but I may never be able to fit everybody out there if I do set them up, we were packed in there for this meeting
