Party at Nook's, Thursday, August 1st!

Funny you should chime in, Hershel! I've been meaning to call you but working too many days, evenings and nights and never make a call! I was thinking of just 10 pounds of wings cuz it looked like a smaller gathering, but now that your chicken wing eating butt is coming I'm gonna make 20 pounds:)

That's what I'm talking brother.
May have to skip a meal our two in preparation.
I'm looking forward to this.
See you there.

Dave, hit me up if you need a hand with anything the day of. I can get to the house pretty early if needed.

You might have to skip a week's worth of meals as skinny as you are:D Time to eat some birds:sleep:

Wife just told me shes able to get off work too so we should be there this time!

Awesome, glad you both can make it.

I might take you up on that if you want to swing by early. I have a lot of work days, eves, and nights up to the party so I'm trying to coordinate my cooking schedule. If nothing else, we can drink and celebrate that the cooking is already completed:)

I'll be bringing the deviled eggs and a few pounds of pulled pork.

Yea I said it,pulled pork. Too bad this is RC G-rated~ lolz

Thanks to anyone bringing a side dish, but don't feel obligated by any means. I have a pretty good selection for the carnivores:

Jamaican jerk wings (spicy, but not unbearable)

BBQ burgers

Assorted Kenrick's links

Hot dogs

Johnsonville cheddar brats

I also have a couple Cajun cheese balls this year and some pretzel chips....I know that sounded bad:D

As usual, for the responsible drinkers (not you Smack), there will be a 5 gallon container of Herradura/GrandMa/Cuervo Mix, along with my version of the Sangria (dry red wine, Captain Morgan, citrus fruits, and OJ). I will have plenty of beer, soda, bottled water, etc, so don't feel you need to bring that stuff unless you don't care for ales.

Pool will be open and tiki torches lit for bug bite prevention as they have been really bad this year, but if anyone has some bug candles or something like that to burn as well, it might not be a bad idea:hammer:

Bogie will be in his kennel and for folks that don't know my dog, he is aggressive and aloof with strangers, but he can't get out of his cage, so fear not. Just don't try to pet him or he will bite;) Looking forward to having a great party this year and for folks that want to party late, feel free to crash here until the next day.

This couldn't be a better first time briwill. Dave's is the first tank I saw my first time, it's beautiful and a fun time as well.
