I think all maxima clams that have any gold in them are flat out concidered gold. Gold maxima is a pretty wide coloration.

Thanks for the compliment. Looking at your rockwork and sps's I would have to say yours is more interesting though. But I have got ya beat with my 24 clams.

I am actually looking to get rid of a few and some other stuff. If you do want to make a daytrip and see the clams and tank give me a pm. You could hit the shark reef and ocean reef aquatic's on the way:D it would be a worth while trip;)

CAreefer wow that is an impressive clam. Love the blue, my derasa is the same color as yours when you purchased it. Hopefully it turns out like yours.

I feel the same way. For some reason, all the stores carry are croceas, and I don't like them like I do T. maximas.

WOW thanks melev and ezcompany for adding those pic's they are all awesome clams.. But I have to agree with the maxima's they are most awesome.

This is a great thread. You gave me credit for a picture that isn't mine. I posted that pic from a Taiwanese (I think) forum. I gave credit in the thread where it was originally posted. I wish I could take props for that tank ;)
