PC Lighting Cord Question

Hello,

I have an old (1996) Custom Sea Life 2x96 watt PC kit over a 40 gallon aquarium. The problem is that that the rubber "sockets" that fit around the bulb have gotten hard and brittle and begun to break. The bulbs are square, four-pin design, and the ballast side of the cord is a female, three-prong design, with the prongs all being rectangular shaped and arranged in a triangular pattern.

Do you guys have anything that I could use to replace the two lighting cords?

Thank you, as always.

Kevin

Hey Kevin,

We do not have the actual cord that will completely plug into your ballast and replace your existing setup, however we do have cords that you could hard wire to the existing setup you have. That way you could replace the rubber boot endcaps that are brittle. Price on them runs about $14 per cord. That actually is 8' long with a quick disconnect on the end, however you would want to chop off just the endcap and use that.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hello Jeremy
I have a couple of old CSL cords laying around(?). I'll check tomarrow if their still around. Their your's if you can sell them!

That would be GREAT! The lights are on a tank at a local elementary school, so I'm a little leery of cutting and splicing... little kids pick at everything, and I wouldn't want one to get to a bare wire.

Hello Jeremy & Kevin
I was able to dig up a pair, CSL square pin PC cords. I'll take them to work tomorrow (Wed.) and can get them shipped out.
Jermey should I ship them to you in Indy or is it best to go straight to Calf.

Hello Jeremy & Kevin
How does this sound. As I do note take CC or Paypal...
