Saw that too. I'm starting to look for a G.Smithii and have been keeping you in mind and looking any O. Scyllarus available too. I wouldn't be surprised if LA gets one in soon. It's been a while since they had their last one in.

Thanks man. Did you see the size of this zebra mantis? 6.5 inches :eek1:

Thanks for the welcome. No I don't have a mantis but I plan on getting one. Been searching on craigslist for a good deal on a 10 gallon tank. I don't plan on getting a peacock like you.

What are the good LFS around town? And do you know any that sell mantis shrimp?

I usually stop by The Aquariun Showroom because they are good guys and have good stocking. There's also Neptune Aquatics which is excellent but farther away in milpitas. You can also go to King Aquariun but know what you are looking for because those guys will sell you ANYTHING even if it isn't good for you tank. Good luck on the search!

I seen a peacock mantis at aquarium concepts in dublin on sunday maybe they still have it.

So I finally got around to calling these guys and turns out it's a chragra, no a peacock. Oh well, they said they might be able to order one though

Messing around with the camera today, heres some new shots.

Wow crazy. What kind of plants (macro) do you have in there? Do they require intense lighting? And is your substrate a mix of sand/mud?

I've been thinking about getting some low-maintenance greenery for my tank but none look very appealing.

There's a couple different things in there, saw blade caulpera and other stuff I got from reef cleaners. I just have normal sand substrate, you dont have to have mud for that stuff. Im running 39wx2 t5s so nothing too crazy. Sorry I didnt get back to you yesterday, I had some things happen at my apt I had to handle.

Did you pay for it already? I guess you had to if you already ordered it but did they give you credit or a refund?

Yea they gave me a refund. On a good note I am getting coralline algae like crazy on everything. I didn't even see this much on the 20L
