ok, i bought 3 yesterday(friday)drip acclimated and released. havent seen them yet. do they hide alot? how long will they take to eat my 4 or 5 aptasia? i got them from greg if it matters.

yes they do hide alot, just becasue you bought them doesnt mean that they will eat your aptasia. but i sure hope they do where did you get them?

Yea we never saw ours, even if you pull out the rock they will stay on it, the only time we even saw them was when they got stuck in our overflow. Never really noticed them eating aptasia either.

Hey I just got 3 also maybe a week ago and i had maybe 8 polyps of aptasia and they got the job done that very night. Thats when they come out is at night. You can see them if you got lunar lights.

i just found them hiding behind the box for my skimmer. got them at aquatic technologies. seem to hit 1 or 2 heads already

thats all he feeds them and they will eat. went to a funeral and when i came home 2 hours later most are gone. WOW

I have about 30 I put into a system that was aptasia bad about 200 pounds of live rock and there is none now Its awesome the way they eat it. I also feed them i like how they walk on water upside down to eat.

ime you hardly ever see them, got a couple from greg, had a few aptasia in a tank, they ate them after a few weeks, hard to say when really. now i only rarely see them when some food floats by its cave he will almost come out and grab it.
