Perfecto tanks tempered bottom?

From what I understand with my email conversations with Kim at Perfecto, the bottoms of all of Perfecto's tanks are tempered unless it is a special order.

For more info, you can contact Perfecto at: info@perfectomfg.com

i know there are no dumb questions .. only dumb people .. but here is my dumb one for the day ...

the back pane wouldn't be tempered, would it?

Best advise, email Perfecto with your tank info before drilling... they're pretty quick to respond.

But be advised, drilling the tank will void any warranty.

FWIW I called the number off their website and they were VERY helpful. They even asked me what store and what city I bought my tank in and then informed me they only shipped that location aneeled (sp?) glass tanks. Call them, definately.

I was under the impression that only the bottoms of tanks that are 55g or larger are temperd. I was being told that a ten gallon was tempered but then i looked at the LFS sale display and asked what kind of tanks were used and he said perfecto 10g. EVERY single one of them was drilled. My information very well may be bogus? As stated above i would email perfecto.

i shot them an email a few hours ago - obviously i'm not expecting an email back from them before tomorrow sometime .. was just wondering if anybody on here knew.

Thanks guys,

marco

Just got a reply via email -

The Perfecto 265 has no tempered panels. Please know that any drilling
will void any and all warranty on this tank. You can order it
predrilled from your local retailer.
