Are you planning adding some more fish?

Hot damn that is nice Perry, very very nice.

Thanks Mark,
I really appreciate your compliment, it means a lot buddy!!!

Nice. Post some more so I can get motivated to work on my 120.

Thanks Mark,
I will see about getting some new pics up soon, going to let things settle down a bit, I thought maybe the new shots were premature, but wanted to give you guys an idea of what is happening in the tank.

Wow!!!!
Holy instant old reef!!
Really nice job, Perry.
It really, really looks fantastic.
Very impressed!!

Thank You Matt, very kind words my friend, the positive feedback is really appreciated!

Matt,
Thanks man, I am happy I had the chance to spread color and growth patterns appropriately, coming from a serious hobbyist such as yourself, I feel very honored!

Oh wow Mike, now that is a huge compliment, I thank you my friend!!!
I will be adding fish soon, I am going to add a tang, and likely many anthias, this will happen over the next upcoming weeks and months, my additions will be slow...

I just love your scape. It looks like two mountains with colorful mature trees.

Thanks Bernie!!!
I appreciate the kind words, and glad you like the display, and also glad you get the idea behind my scape, mountains and trees, something a bit different :)

Thanks cFloor :)
Now to get my fish population up, that is one thing that makes your tank stand out so beautifully. Your colors and scape are amazing, but to see that, and all them pretty fish interact, well that is just mind blowing :) I appreciate the kind words regarding my reef, this year is starting off well...

Update:

I did my second water change yesterday with AF probiotic salts. I increased my dosages on NP Pro to 6 drops each morning, as well as 6 drops of Pro Bio S. I am using 3 spoons of Pro Bio F each morning as well, mixed with tank water. As far as coral supps go, I am dosing 6 drops of E, V, and B per night. I am also using Fish V to increase the health of my fish, which are all doing very well at this point:) I am also using the AF carbon, zeolites, and phos minus. They are doing a great job of keeping nutrients low, and the tank is looking very clear.

Observations: I have noticed that the tank responds well to water changes, I will continue to do a 10 gallon per week change. I have noticed that the corals are starting to color very nicely, they do not look pastel at all, the as suppose that they will begin this process with the use of Coral E, which I have recently started dosing. As far as the system goes, like Matt has said, it seem so much easier and more gentle, I cannot see any adverse effects on fish, coral, or any other inhabitants in the tank, also brown dusting algae is decreasing, and the one spot of cyano is nearly gone. The water clarity is the best I can remember in recent times, just so crystal clear. I think the siporax is finally seeded, I did not speed up it's process through use of bacteria, just the Pro Bio S. The zeolites are also building up bacteria, so I am pulsing them every couple of days. All in all, I am quite pleased thus far, not hype at all, these products pretty much do what they say, and the ingredients are straight forward. The products have rich smells, none of which have a vinegar odor. Here is a pic from under the tank, thought it might be appropriate to show that. Excuse my wires, kind of messy, could use Nate's touch here :)

I am super happy that it's working well for you Perry! What is your system volume again? I've noticed that the amount of mulm coming off the zeolites is significant, a mini snowstorm even when I pump the stones twice a day. Way more than when I ran Zeovit.

My numbers came down and have stayed down, with very little NP Pro for such a large system(7 drops). I'm a very happy user as well.

My tank is 120gallon, frag tank is 60 gallon, and sump is 40gallon. I guesstimate that it is around 180 gallons, less than the rock, and the sump being 2/3 full. I came up with my dosing regiment at this number. The display is lacking live rock, only about 80lbs. The frag tank has none, I plan on adding rock to the frag tank. Almost all non sps corals moved to the frag tank today, as I added a gyre 150 to kick up flow, and boy did it :) Detritus has no chance to settle, then to the overflow and into a sock, as you can see in the sump pic, my skimmer is pulling like crazy, I suspect due to carbon source. I am using the dosing method of 6 drops of pretty much everything in my lineup. This still puts me slightly under the recommended dosing, I can always adjust accordingly. Like transitioning over to zeovit, I encountered a mini cycle, brown dusting started to take off, specifically in the frag tank and in the display on mainly plastics. After manual removal via water change, I see it breaking, I also did not realize I had so much settling of detritus in the display, so that is now fixed. Hopefully it will stay away, there are no measurable phosphates, and nitrates are 0.2ppm with Salifert, barely a color change. Anyway, I will continue to update and check in on your thread, glad to see a few more guys jumping on board :)
Cheers Matt

Wow Perry!! Your tank looks phenomenal. Can't wait to see all of these acros mature into the system.

Thanks Richard,
Your kind words are much appreciated! I cannot remember in all my years how much fun it is to glue and epoxy corals down to semi-permanent homes. Hopefully the pics show my careful consideration on where to place each coral. During the weeks of the corals being temporarily housed in the frag tank, and with the new scape ready, I had the ability to envision where each coral would be placed. At this point there are only 2 corals remaining non sps in the display. The ricordeas, which are sort of permanently mounted and out of the sps growth plans, and a teal trumpet coral in which my female true perc has hosted. Will try and get a few more pics up later on...
Thanks Again!

Updated FTS photo.
Pulled all but 2 non sps corals to the frag tank. Hopefully the corals will take off as soon as they settle a bit. Pretty happy with the overall look. Currently 40 different types of acropora in the tank. Only 4 montis, 1 birdnest, and 1 pavona. Thanks for looking :)

Really nice Perry. I am going from 40 or less SPS in my tank also. Want to give them room to grow.
