Noooo! That was my favorite store . . . I used to go there all the time when I work in Kent. I really like all their employees, they actually knew what they were talking about!
probably got in trouble cause a little bird told me they buy alot of there reps and birds from hobbyists and shows... which i was told isnt allowed by a retail store... maybe wrong, but maybe right?
i buy stuff there all the time and have never smelled anything that i haven't smelled at other stores especially ones with goat's.the sign is from the tax department so hopefully they had a small accounting error and as chad said they will be open on Monday so i can get the fish food i tried getting on Friday when they got shut down.and one thing i have learned in life is to never believe a little birdy they cause more damage than good.
I have been going there for at least 10yrs and up until recently it has never smelled even remotely like it does now. It literally smells like a sewage back up! Ever since the new owners took over it has been on a downward spiral for that place. I hope they get their act together. It is nice to have a local store where you can get emergency stuff.
the bottom line is a smelly pet store is awalys better then no pet store. if more saltwater stores close down then we'll all have to order online or see the awsome selection of brown corals at petco.
Hmmm, not good. I just did a court record search on them (All For Pet, Inc) and they have 11 leins filed against them in 2010. Ten are from the Ohio Department of Taxation for unpaid sales taxes. When you total them up, it is no small number...
Hope they get their problems resolved, I stop in every so often for fish food & a quick look. The place changed owners a couple of years ago and I like their upgrade to more reef related items. I was in the store about a week ago and noticed a kind of dead fish/sewer odor.
