while i'm busy attending on the sick anemone, i totally ignore the chalk bass. havent seen it for a while. hopefully it hasn't jumped

i seriously need a cover for my rimless. some fish i like are really jumpers

UUUGGGHHHHHHH maintaining anemones is like maintaining a relationship: awarding but very high maintenance with lots ups and downs and unpredictions

That's no kidding! Once you get a good crew and your not constantly adding new anemones, then nobody gets sick.

Can't stress enough regardign quarantine new anemone. Don't add them to your healthy anemone unless you are absolutely sure that they are not infected.

i guess the haddoni's foot was torn, throwing out a whole lot of string things

tons of grey strings from its foot, which mustve been tore. its very fatal to anemone

hopefully its still savable. now it shows no completely deflated but it definitely did at lunchtime

actually it looks better now:

day 2 of treatment

first time ever since hospitalized, the mouth closed up

closer look you can see a frog prawn thing is still leaking from its mouth

hopefully it will stay. will set up a monitor to see when it starts to deflate

my basic idea about its deflation-inflation cycle should be starting at lunchtime through late afternoon

hopefully the cycle will stop soon

day 3

deflation and inflation cycle continues :headwalls: i had the butler come over to my apt and he told me it started at mid afternoon then through late afternoon

after water change it started to peak

the mouth shape a tad stoke back

however to me it looked better in general

no more string leakage

given the severity of its infection, i guess it will take way longer than does a standard treatment

I'm more confident of its recovery now. the best improvement is on foot. less strings and more attached to the bottom

Mine always start to do really well around day 5. I like to keep treating to be safe. I'm fixing to start keeping them in HT longer after I'm done with meds and using DT water to see if they are gonna react to anything in the water column before I put them back in DT. Safer and less stress.
