Pete's 110 build

We had the same issue with our 20L. We just turned the whites down but left the same schedule & it cleared up pretty quickly. Too bad now we have bubble algae LOL.

good to hear - thanks for posting your results Sushi
do you know what you ended up running them at? Right now I have mine set at 60%.

thanks NJKayakAngler and welcome to RC

I found the name of that new skimme it's a Reef Live but I couldn't find anything on them so I called the warehouse, they were very reluctant to provide me with much information. They acted on the phone like I was a spy or something.

I finally got the backordered APEX dimming module in. I probably wont get back on the dimming mod until next week sometime so here are a few pictures just to keep the thread alive.

gotta love those pink elegance.
thanks - I've been wanting one for a long time and found this smaller 3" one on DD and picked it up with some other items to get to the free shipping :)

How long have the lights been down and how well is it coloring back up?
about 2 weeks and I've noticed the difference in the corals, I'm still getting some algae though so I may cut them back a little more

Ahhh.. good.. I have mine set to like 40 max right now. I am going to up them slowly over the next few weeks.

orange gorg - I had one of these in the past that did well but didn't survive the high P04 and NO3 levels I hit a few months back

this yellow polyped purple base gorg survived the high trates though it did suffer but now seems to be making a comeback

Fantastic tank! That pod video is awesome. Was there some kind of crab hanging out in behind your frag rack with the pods and mini brittles?

Nice. I have the purple one. I too have noticed it likes lots of light. Mine is a fast grower too.
thanks Sahin and good to hear from you

Beautiful Gorgs! I love to see them in the tank. rare nowadays!
Thanks Neil - and I agree. I think a lot of people are leary of them as so many species are hard to keep but thate are a few that seem to do well in reef tanks.

Very gorgeous Gorgs. Exellents Pics!!!!
thanks

Thanks - probably a hermit or shrimp, I'll have to go back and look at it.

here are some pics of some bargin bin ($19) cloves I ran across at a LFS and decided to pick up about 2 months ago. They had promise from a coloration standpoint (just hints of 3 colors that are now becoming more vibrant) but looked feable and about a quarter the size they are now - I like nice surprises ;)
