Here are some interesting shots
One of my frogspawn corals will grow out these odd pieces that have about 5 tips on a surface area about the size of what would normally be a single tip. These growths will break off and float around the tank looking for a place to establish itself. Most of the time (well all of the times up till now) they end up lost in the rockwork.
This one decided to attach itself to my hyacinth coral. I’m sure the battle is now afoot for surface area and I have no doubt the frogspawn will win. I’m torn between leaving it for a few days to see and document the process and removing it to prevent damage to the hyacinth.
