petition: Hamilton Lighting

Is anybody else on RC interested in seeing the test results for single end (mogul) 250 watt Hamilton 10k halides?
Maybe these lamps would be more popular if reefkeepers had specs on them available. I've communicated with Dr. Sanjay Joshi and he needs Hamilton to send him a lamp. Please allow us to "see the light" and send him a bulb, Hamilton.

Well I will just say this: I choose my lighting based off the readings done by Sanjay and the pictures by JBNY, so any bulb not included in them is not "on my radar" of possibilities.

Yes, I definitely would like to see some tests on the 10K Hammy.

I would like to see some results. I too consult Sanjay's site before shoosing a bulb. If it is not listed, I won't consider it.

i would love to see some hammy results. he also doesnt have the hamilton hqi ballast with 250w DE bulb combo. i hope hamilton jumps on board and provides some test equipment. it provide a bump in sales if there numbers come out well!!

Uh, Hamilton doesnt make a 10,000K from what I remember. Every hamilton 10,000K my buddy gets arrives with a Ushio 10,000K. I think the only 'Hamilton' bulb is the 14,000K, the 10,000K and 20,000Ks are Ushio.

I don't understand your post, Travis.
I'm running two Hamilton 10k's right now.
Sanjay has yet to test these lamps....

Now you're confusing me even more, Gary. Why petition Hamilton to giving someone a product for free when they obviously haven't before. I mean, was it something that was accidently passed over before, or has Hamilton had its reasons to not send it? If the latter, I think we should respect Hamilton's decision and not petition for it. On the other hand, if it was the forementioned I would be very happy to see the results. I think that this thread could easily be misconstrued by Hamilton when your intentions were noble. I'm just watching out for you/Sanjay/JBNY
