Yeah, I agree. The reactor looks well built IMO, but the screws that need to be undone just to change the media look like a PITA to me.

I like how easy it is to just unscrew the whole top of my TLF model. To me, its priceless. I hate fumbling with all those screws.
 
Well, it appears as though the second generation of the Precision Marine reactors no longer have screws:

Thats really nice! Glad to see they moved away from the screws! I guess I wasn't the only person who thought they were troublesome :D
 
Hey guys. I have the via aqua. Very happy with it. The seal is great. Nice tight oring design. I'm running carbon and phos mixed with no problems. Cant beat the price either. For hose sealing it has barbed fittings with screw hose locks just like the ones that come stock on my Korralin CA reactor. I like it.
