I use Phosar, best thing is that it's tiny peletized form has more surface area and resists clumping which helps water pass through easier. It has less dust than competitors, rinsing clear in my Phosban reactor within 1/2 gallon. Phosban and Rowaphos took more than 2-3 gallons before they rinsed clear. Plus it's cheaper that Rowaphos and Phosban.

You would be amazed at what the sock collects when the media breaks down into small pieces. It prevents the particles going through the return onto your nice white sand.
