Can anyone photoshop this shot for me. Also is it an ok shot. I borrowed a friend Canon D30 and used my 70-200 zoom lens. Not sure of the settings, just turned in on and started shooting.

I thought maybe it could be centered or maybe shadded. I don't have nor do I know how to use photoshop

Rather than centered, I think it would look better if the fish were in the lower left corner, rather than upper right. You could also make the colors a little more vibrant, but I'll leave that to those with better PS skills.

The biggest problem is that the image is soft. At 1/60 of a second, and at that focal length, is just too slow.

In other words you are not capturing as much detail as you could to make this image a truly stunning shot. I would be happy to center the image up for you though, but I will need the full res image. PM me and i'll give you my email to send it to.

The fish is a moving target so if your camera's shutter speed isn't fast enough, his motion will cause blur in the photo. Blur = softness in the image = looks like it was not in focus. Generally speaking you want the shutter speed to be around 1/250 sec. or 1/400 sec. to stop motion (this is a gross oversimplification, but it will help you right now).
