Pic of SPS from my 275

Shawnts106, the only fish who stays really that thin is the Blue tang, as all other fish graze on the liverock and copepods present in vast quantities.

Yes Im sure the fish graze and consume microinverts like small shrimps, namely amphipods etc... however, I do believe it would of course benefit them if they were to be fed Mysis shrimp every once and a while... possibly some Seaweed for the tang, after all, tangs need their nori for health and imunity.

just my 2Cents... take it or leave it, just hope you take it

nice tank either if you have skinny fish or not.

I would of sworn this was a Zeo tank too. Looks great! Congrats!!

No Zeo here. Until I personally see a SPS system using Zeo that looks significantly nicer than mine I will be leaving good enough alone.

Mine too, except his looks nicer! I like the color of the XMs with the actinics. I've been considering putting them back on under my LAIIIs

That is awesome!

It's really too bad you aren't on aquariumpros.ca .. very unfortunate for those of us who hang out there anyway.

This coral is sweet. What is it?

You said you feed GP. What is that? Also what kind of flake food do you feed? Great tank, thanks for sharing!

SMP - check out reefescape, most local sponsors are there (Greater Toronto Area) as well as myself and many other experienced hobbiests.

Sidog1 - up here we call it "The Fuscia" :) The most unusual shaped acro I have seen. Fuscia base, blue tips and white polyps. No real idea on the species and I have never seen one similar come in on shipment day. Some day I hope to get over to the guys place who has the entire colony to get a pic.

well I am convinced I need to get the camera back so I can get photos or the other corals I have, and a few more pics of the tank. This is the last one I have for now but I will try to post more in a few days.

Love the depth, and your clarity is awesome! Starfire only works well when you have very clean water, job well done! (ozone? uv?)

adddo - got my camera back yesterday, so I will post a few more pics in a day or two.

hceiv - no UV, no ozone (well maybe ozone for 4-6 hours 1x a month with an enaly I bought years back just to try it).

Rory3 - I never let the coraline get that bad as I feel it takes away from the clean look. Coraline also absorbs light rather than replecting it back into the tank which leeps it looking bright. My maintenace is to use my magnet every day to clean the front and side panels. As s result I only use the scraper once every 2-3 months on the glass. I also keep the back panel clean. Easy to leave this accessible when you have a 36" wide tank. Last thing that makes it easy is that the tank is not tall.
