Just picked up this guy from my LFS yesterday. Grade B picasso. I made out like a bandit, got him for 30 dollars. Sorry for the quality of the pix, I did my best. Enjoy.

Reefing Runners and Arati:

Normal pricing for a Grade A picasso from Ora can be anywhere from 100-150 dollars a fish depending on your LFS. Normal pricing for a grade B picasso is around 50-100 dollars also depending on your LFS. Almost all of the picasso perculas seen here and in LFS available are from ORA. I have come across very few Wild caught picassos and I don't think I have ever seen what is considered a Grade A that was not tank bred.

The diference between Grade A and Grade B picassos is simple. Grade A picassos have the 2nd and 3rd bar connecting with the white pattern. Grade B picassos have a unique white pattern but does not have the connection between the middle and tail white bars.

Personally I have seen some spectacular Grade B picassos that have a much nicer pattern than some Grade A ones but are so distinguished becasue of the lack of connection of the bars. Usually the Grade A's have a more striking pattern and that is why they are more desired and more expensive. My picasso (in the pic above ) is a Grade B picasso from ORA.

hope that helps

cheers
