Nannochloropsus I assume...

Matt

Is there a difference between Nannochloropsus and Nannochloropsis :D

Congrates embryoguy!!

Not sure if it's a stupid Q on not, but in regards to Picasso's, I read in Hoff or Wilkerson that some fish are marketed falsely as Picasso and are actually just misbarred. My question is what's the difference and how to tell so as not to get burned. I notice the 2nd and 3rd strips are combined not missing, is that it?

Very cool fish, and I assume must be kept longer in sell with third strip full in, hence higher price. Are they wild caught Picasso's or are they tank raised and what region are they from if wild caught. Once again...awesome fish and best of luck....Carl

are the eggs still viable? they appear dark brown. still attached to the live rock though. the two btas completely block them from light and alot of flow.

wc. sorry i cant answer your question regarding the female origin.

hey nevermind of the color. i got my answer from a good breeder friend.

does anyone know where i can purchse a small piece of rotifer micro mesh? i need some to cover my siphon during water changes. florida farms sells it but only with large rolls.

came home today, as expected the eggs hatched, but i did not see a new batch. i did have a few sps colonies bleech. :( so not sure if it had to do with that or not.

now im hoping they will release another batch. the male is still busy cleaning the nest area so i hope thats a good sign.

ok its day 7 , but i m not sure what to look for to predict the hatch. my temps have been around 78-79.
i definetly see eyes but they do not appear silver like ive read. ive seen these eyes for atleast several days now.
