Love the Achilles really want one, but they dont come up and very often in Perth but will be on the lookout for one for sure.

When I do make an upgrade, I am dying to get an Achilles, I have loved them since the day I first saw one. If I knew about their tank requirements before I bought my current tank, I would have gone larger strictly for that fish.

Do your research long and hard and proactively treat a Achilles with PP and cupramine or chloroquine phosphate to make sure the fish is clear of any and all diseases. If you haven't done what I described above to the current fish you have already in the DT and all fish added to the DT, your Achilles will get ich period. Even if you have never seen any signs of ich on the fish in the DT currently, the DT has it. Achilles are the most beautiful tang there is (IMO) but in order to keep one long term takes perfect water chemistry, high flow and a disease free tank.
Fish wise a Emperor or Majestic if you wanted bigger angels, Bellus or Wantanabei pair if you want smaller angels. Purple or Maculiceps tang. One of my personal favorites is the long horned cowfish, they have a ton of personality and act a lot a dog of the fish world

There's many hardier, less expensive and still beautiful Tangs. Desjardinii Sailfin, Orange Shoulder, the little pony faced Tomini just to name a few, all excellent algae grazers to. A few different sized Tangs, a large Angel and for some contrast a school of blue damsels, chromis or Cardinals, could look amazing.

Where can one find detailed instructions on how to use copper to treat an Achilles tang in qt?

I would read in the disease forums on crypto irritants. Copper works differently then cupramine, and chloroquine phosphate works differently then the other two. Copper is toxic to fish so getting the AT to eat in the Tank Transfer method (also in the disease forum) is key because there is very high likelyhood the AT will stop eating in the copper treatment. Cupramine doesn't show up on copper tests other than the seachem one. There are books out there on health and disease of marine fish, that's what I would recommend before attempting a AT

Ramp up to full dose over 7 days then treat for 3-4 weeks. Some use less than the full dose but I usually treat closer to 0.5.
If the fish is eating, then the fish should be able to handle cupramine without an issue. If the fish reacts poorly remove the medication and try again in a few days.
