Picked up my MR3-R

Probably a bit of overkill for my 180 gallon aggressive tank, but my guys/girls/have no clue like to eat and poop. Plumbing tommorrow. Hoping that better skimming will help with nitrates. I'll try to post a few pics when up and running.

Blueline 55 (1100 gallon) recirculating and a quiet one 2200 (580 gph) feed. Got this one as I plan on upgrading in the future, rated at 600 gallons as it and can be upgraded to a bl 70/100 with an additional riser!

So, those out there with beckett skimmers, how long until skimmate makes it to the top of the risers? I got my skimmer online today. I have the water line set as instructed and have the air valves completly opened per the directions. Just curious about when it will start pulling out waste, thanks tommy

You should start to see skimmate form quickly. You may need to restrict the air a bit. Also check out this thread.
