Pictures BEFORE I start fragging for Reefnest

Well the pliers come out this week to get as many frags as possible ready for Reefnest. Thought I'd better get a few snaps before the tank gets its summer hair cut:

And the frags so far:

And a special one for the record but one day I'll frag this Pizza Anemone. It'll go on e-bay and see if I can get a mortgage payment out of it:

Kent E:

The yellow fish is a not a fancy basslet - just a golden wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus), sometimes known as a yellow coris wrasse which of course it's not.

Stephany:

Corals growing up the back of the tank are various Montipora species (orange cap, spongades, purple cap, green cap) and there's a pink birdsnest colony just starting. I find that it's easy to get SPS corals to grow on the acrylic overflow but more of a problem getting them to attach to the glass.

Over to the left I have a large porites coral from back in 1996 or so when Caribbean Forest used to be where The Reef Shoppe is now. For best part of 10 years it's done nothing but sit there and now in the last year it's gone nuts growing up the glass and across rockwork like it's on a mission to colonize the world.
