Purchased this from a local saltwater store yesterday was assured it was not bleached and is the 4th that hes had from the same supplier grown under panorama led's.I'm not sure if it has lost color but then body is tan oral disc is white to hot florescent pink tentacles.has ate 2 krill this morning.when adding him to tank the foot was super sticky actually stock to my fingers for a good min then it moved to his current spot.all looks good but I did notice a tear my his mouth on the left side(pic) and isn't fully open, hopefully still acclimate

id also say bleached..

get it healthy and its color back, and take a picture of it and bring it to the LFS and tell him thats what its spose to look like..

In addition, it looks like it has started to consume itself for energy, going to have to start feeding it, while it recovers.

Yea I have seen a few of these around but always sold so I grabbed it when I found one for sale at my other lfs, I have a rbta that splits once a month and it dose not look similar and I don't see it geting that marron red my rose bta is, it deff.should darken under my halide tho, I guess my question is , is there a pink bta and if you have one can you post pics

All Rose BTAs that are bleached will look pink. Even some brown BTAs will look pink when they are bleached. Since the pink color comes from having no base color (brown zoanthellae) then pretty much by definition all bright pink BTAs are bleached.

Some bleached RBTAs seem to be able to survive a long time (years) in that state and some sellers will tell you that it is their natural color, and they may actually believe that, but they are wrong.

yea I had a suspicion it could be.its eating so hopefully it will darken up I only paid 39.00 and thats what mad me buy it, I seen so many pink bta but almost all in led tanks, are they doing this on purpose to sell quicker

Bleached and starving. A bad combo, but not something you can't recover from. No such thing as a pink non-bleached BTA.
