Pintail Fairy Wrasse Info

I like fish
I'm very interested with the Pintail Fairy Wrasse, especially it's long tail and the super male's color. Although I don't have much information about this fish. Does anyone experience with this fish? (The price, and other information)

What info are you looking for? Easy fish w/o any aggression with my other wrasses whatsoever. Very active and always out and about in the tank. They are not cheap. I paid $200 from my LFS and that is on the cheap side from what I understand.

Sorry for the bad I-phone photos but here is mine.

It's nice, I'll probably just buy it at cheap sale prices. I've heard it's only going to be about 100+$

Thanks steve
Beautiful fish - very easy wrasse.
Have him with a blue fairy, flame, solorensis, and pair of lubbocks
All coexisting great together

SmileSmile- you may frown but I do not believe they are anywhere near that price, but perhaps by where you live. Best of luck!

Thanks, is it a super male?

I have mine with a rhomboid male, red velvet male, Rosefascia pair, exquisite male, flame pair, labouti male, orange shoulder male, blue sided juv, coris pair, clown female, filamentus male, a blue streak pencil and a diamond tail in the acclimation box.

Those are just his wrasse tank mates. There are a few other fish as well.
They are all great, with slight aggression here and there.

How much does it all cost?

What would be a price for a male?(not yet changed to super male)

If you are truely in China then asking prices for this fish in US dollars is not relevant. And I am sure even if you do the currency conversion you will find the fish to be much cheaper around your area cuz this fish is usually from the philippines, which is very close geographically to China.

If I may, why do you continue to be so insistent on price in every post of yours?

Most likely he shares a similar dysfunction like my x-wife. She would plan everything out to the almost the cent. I think he is planing on his next build when he move back to Canada.

I'll be moving back to Canada, so I want to know the price there, not in China.

I wanted to build a sps tank back in Canada, and I think most of the money will be spent on buying the corals. I want to keep everything under 10,000$, so I don't want to spend that much money on the fish. Also I think buying the equipment will also spend lots of money. So that why I need to know the price of things little more precisely.

Can you not visit Live Aquaria, Divers Den and Blue Zoo sites (to name a few)? You will see the exact price people are paying. I thought these sites were available in China.

Yes but I couldn't order livestocks from those websites. And sometime there is internet problem with those websites.

i have a trio of these, they are in with too many other wrasses ... ~ 12 others ... the trio is comprised of a male (with the pin tail) and 2 females (without) - the male is what i would describe as a standard male and certainly not as nice as gsiegel's male. I have seen a little bit of displaying but its behaviour is being influenced by my dominent / fiesty / pita naoko male, to the point that the naoko pair are going to be moved on in the next few days so i can let it settle and hopefully develop into a nicer male.
I am in the UK so any comment on price isnt going to be helpful but these are not currently cheap or easy to obtain. From a compatibility perspective i wouldn't foresee any issues if you have them with mellow fish, if you have a feisty male fairy then there is every chance it may be overshadowed and possibly harassed.
