As far as feeding goes, how do they do? I know they'll pick at pods, but will they eat anything else?

My bluestripe pipefish are among the first out at feedings. I've never checked if they take flake food, but they go after pretty much everything frozen as long as they can suck it in.As far as feeding goes, how do they do? I know they'll pick at pods, but will they eat anything else?
I have a captive bred banded flagfin pipefish that came trained to eat mysis. I have had it for 2 years in a 36 gallon bowfront tank and it has been an easy fish to keep. It eats from a bowl.I've been thinking about adding a pipe fish to my 40 Breeder Right now its low flow 2x 6015's. They are on one side of the tank causing a circular motion around the tank, I have a fuge that contains about 10 Gallons and I plan on waiting 6-12 months until its well populated with pods.
My fish at the moment are...
1x Carpenters Flasher Wrasse(will he compete with pods)?
1x 1" Blue Hippo Tang
I also plan on adding some small Gobys. and maybe a Royal Gramma.
Can I pull it off?
Also what would you say are the easiest PipeFish?
Thanks alot
Charley
Actually, most seahorses now have been trained to eat frozen mysis shrimp.live food like most of the seahorses.
