Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

I just saw something pretty strange in my tank, I have a peanut worm the lives in a rock right against the glass. When I went to look at it it had its head buried in the sand so he didn't retract into his hole from the light. When I looked closer at it I thought I saw a price of hair on the worm, when I looked closer it ended up being a bug that looked like a tiny stick bug. When the peanut worm retracted this tiny bug crawled inside of the worms mouth completely. It was about a 1/4 inch long and really thin. Anyone ever see anything like this? Couldn't get a pic in time.

I've had my tank up for about 10 months. These white things started showing up on the rocks. They seem to be multiplying around my tank. I've included 3 pictures to demonstrate.

I would really like to know what this is and to be sure it's not going to take over my tank.

Thanks,
Ian

They look like harmless feather dusters to me. Is there any sort of crown to them?

Check this out. (Serpulidae)

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at, but those white things in the upper right corner are scypha sponges, aka "pineapple" sponges. (harmless)

I just noticed this sort of shiny item with a black speck inside. It's near the base of this zoa frag I got about a week ago.

Sorry the pictures aren't better, I did the best I could with my phone. Thanks ahead of time!!

I know I have flatworms but im trying to figure out which kind? There has been a debate if they are the bad red kind or the algae eating white kind? If anyone has any insight into this it would be great! I added a 6 line wrasse to the tank today and started to siphon them off the glass. I have not seen them on anything other than the glass. Thanks again!

I'm thinking of just scraping it off. I'm not sure if I want to chance something bad in my tank. This is my first SW and im trying to keep it easy going.
