Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

Hello, what is this clear tube looking thing to the left of the damaged polyp. I came home from work with them like that.

. Here is more growing on the bottom. It looks like the tube sponge that grows with the pineapple sponges in my sump. Could this be anything that killed my people eater? Does not look like aptasia or hydroids, no little tentacles and does not retract.

I'm thinking this first pic is of some type of copepod/amphipod?
The second pic looks like a crab or something along those lines?
I'm using a 10x achromatic magnifier to see both - while I can make out some movement with the naked eye...these guys are tiny!
The second picture looks like a tiny stomatella (sp?) snail... just a guess. If it looks more like a slug than a snail I'd say that's what it is.
EDIT: unless those are legs on the bottom... I thought my eyes were playing tricks lol but I'm probably wrong on second thought. Mods... delete as you see fit.

They just look like harmless sponges to me. It was most likely something else that damaged the PPE.

Pulled some GHA out tonight. Had a nice little mat of it since I've been renovating the house and slacking on parameter checks for a couple of weeks. PO4 was up a bit and the GHA shows it.

I moved a little rock of zoas off the sand and saw this guy make a run for it. I'm not optimistic enough to think there's only one of them.

Fire worm? I have quite a few bristle worms...this guy doesn't look quite the same.

Anyone? Fireworm or regular bristle? I have tons of bristles, this guy just seemed different.

Not sure what this is. It started out creamy white but is developing a green tint. Any ideas?

It looks like some sort of leather coral. Can you take a few more pictures of itthough? Maybe at different angles, and without the actinics on?

Could someone id this orange sponge looking thing and the white one also? Thanks. uploadfromtaptalk1410115343395.jpguploadfromtaptalk1410115353052.jpguploadfromtaptalk1410115365672.jpg
