weird critter

weird critter

This morning I noticed what I believe are eggs on the side of the disk my new zoa frags came on. Did some hunting but decided to investigate tonight before posting.

Well I went hunting a found this reddish and white striped critter on the side of the frag. I tried to figure it out and the closest I can get is maybe isopod or chitin (sp?)

Picture is included sorry if it's huge or tiny still trying to figure this out,

Any help would be appreciated,

I'm not sure what kind of snails that is exactly, but no, it's not a turbo snail. More along the lines of a nassarius snail or whelk. (Vibex?)

If you haven't already, you might want to post that picture in the Other Invertebrates Forum. There's a few people there who are very good a identifying things for people. While it does look kind of like a nassarius snail, whelks are not that far off as far as appearance goes. It would suck to have this predatory snail roaming throughout your tank. (eating the good things)

The spiral shells? Spirorbid worms. Normal and harmless filter feeders

Bristle worm I think? Best pic I could get before he went back into the rocks. I've heard some are good and some are bad?

I got this nerite as part of a cleanup crew from a seller in Florida. It has a barnacle and just noticed that it also has a little colony of what may be digitate hydroids. What do you think? I like the barnacle but not sure about the other creatures.uploadfromtaptalk1411852635677.jpg
