Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

What are they?

What are they?

I have a few of these on my glass and overflow box. Should I be troubled?

Hey guys, with my lights out I used my flash light to give a quick look over my tank. I noticed a very fast moving dark bug like thing run across my sand and into my liverock. I only saw it for a split second but it reminded me of a role-poly. Do I need to be concerned if it's a black one. Almost all pics I've seen here are of white translucent varieties. Keep in mind I cannot say for certain it was a roly-poly. Ot was also rather large say 3-4 mm if not 5mm. I know without a pic I'm fishing for a needle in a hay stack but im hopin someone has a pic of something based on my description

Might have been a sphaeromatid isopod.

could also have been a small mantis shrimp?

Are you referring to the object circled in red? See attached image below.
If so, i can't make out what it is.
Other than that, all i see is a cluster of xenia.

Yes, that.

Edit, pulled out the Cannon to try and get a better photo. Hopefully someone will recognize it.
Thanks!

Greetings Gurus of Weird and Awesome Creatures,

I'm pretty sure this is a young stomatella snail, though my son thinks (hopes, more likely) that it is a nudibranch.

Can anyone confirm/deny?

Thanks!

Thanks. Yes, after some searching and quick reads looks like it's going to be nigh impossible to ID a non descript white slug/nudibranch looking creature. Will have to keep an eye on it.

Any Ideas
