They're just harmless filter feeders. No worries.

No they don't move around. They are hard as well and not easy to scrape off. And very much ruining my back glass astheically

Ok, so I'm VERY new to the saltwater world. Just getting my sump/fuge up and running, adding the tank as soon as we get the new carpet laid down.

Anyhow. Got some hitchhikers on the live rock. I'm about 99% sure I know what the first two pics are. Buuuut...I'm hoping somebody will tell me I'm wrong and no need to worry

3rd pic. Can't quite ID this little guy. Looks cute, but could be deadly given my luck.

Last pic, NO clue. Some sort of mushroom?

The live rock is from an OOOOOLD LFS store with a beyond-well-established system. LOTS of critters. Tons of pods, bristleworms, you name it. Almost all great great stuff. The fuge never really cycled. about 40 gallons, 12lbs of live rock and 60lbs of "live" sand in a bag. Never saw a single detectable level of anything!

Third pic looks like a tubeworm or feather duster to me.

I'm guessing the others are aptasia. Although being new myself, I could quite possibly be wrong.

Not sure on the last pic.

I was afraid it was aptasia. Crap. 3rd is definitely NOT feather duster worms. I have LOTS of those. This guy is several times larger. Very coral looking.

I think you have some sort of large polyped stony coral here, a very nice hitchhiker to have.

It seems to be non-photosynthetic, so when you feed your fish try to give it a bit of brine shrimp or mysis, too.

One more time in case someone missed it. I now have a bunch of these on various rocks. They didn't bother me before, but now I see what looks like a bunch of tiny spider webs coming out of them.
