Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

friend or foe? Anyone knows if I should keep it? It came (as you might have guessed) in on my LR.

Thanks for your help,

Michael

I have the same thing on a piece of old live rock. It's never grown, and only seems to respond to different stimulous very, VERY little, if at all. I've always thought it to be some sort of sponge.

Zombie flat worms?

Zombie flat worms?

Hi please ID this one for me. I believe they are flat worms but seem to be immune to flatworm exit which is making me doubt what they are. If they are indeed flat worms then I'm convienced they are zombies. Cause I have done three treatments in the last week in which l overdosed in the amount of at least double the recommended flatworm exit. I would watch in vain the ones crawling on my glass continue to do so as if I didnt even add the flatworm exit. I followed the instructions to the letter and at this point I'm at a loss. They are small about the size of a pin head.

Any idea what these are? There has been a little spot of dead Chaeto for a few days (I think from handling it) and this morning I noticed these little things all over the dead part. The whole area is about the size of a nickel. It's hard to get a picture because they're so so small. If I had to describe it I'd say they're little white stalks with 5ish short arms/tentacles on the top of each splayed out perpendicular to the stalk, and each "arm" is more clear-ish with a whiter tip.
If anyone can ID them, should I remove them or leave them alone?

This little guy arrived on a colt frag I picked up today. Thought he was a slug at first in the bag but he appears to have a hard shell. Good or bad?

Bristled or hairy legs suggests crab, but the body proportions suggests a kind of shrimp.

Anyone an idea what this is?

It is attached to my front glass. It seems to have thin hair like structures which are extended into the water, wiggling in the flow.

Thanks for your input,

Michael

It closes up as soon as you shine light on it. It just sits there opening and closing... it doesn't move from the little hole it's in. The second picture shows it better... It looks like it has a hard shell and almost has a barnacle appearance... I'm not talking about the tiny feather duster right next to it :) please help identify this, I've looked everywhere.

Help with ID??
For sure uninvited guest. I thought it was a crab with sponges and other growth on its shell... Not so much, it has 10 legs but it also has "crab like" claws. Body shape is longer instead of wider like a crab. It is about 1/2 inch long by 1/4 inch wide. Any ideas anyone?
