CritterK4re, that is a basic bristle worm and it won't hurt your anemone. Far, far more likely your anemone would eat the worm if it got the chance.

Thank you for your response. I'm wondering how it got into my tank? I purchased a GSP frag about ten days ago, and it wasn't until after I introduced it into my tank that I learned it should have been dipped first. However, I didn't notice a worm on it. Don't know how else it would have gotten there though.
Anyone know what this is? It just showed up in the sand bed right up tight to the glass dead center of the front of the tank. I think its some kind of anemone from the way it looks and acts but I've ever seen one so small. Its about the same size of the gravel. It appears to have white tentacle and the foot seems to be green with white stripes.
Any idea what these are found another today best shots i could get head on.
Thanks ronIt could be a majano anemone which is a pest as it replicates fairly quickly and will sting corals. I'd say 90% chance.
On the other hand it could be a single polyp of some species of coral. I'd say 10% chance.
Maybe others will feel more positive about what it is. Good luck.
My best guess is that you are right. I have seen an anemone that, although much bigger, looked like yours. We collected it at the beach after a storm here in SW Florida. I believe it's NOT photosynthetic so you will need to feed it if you plan to keep it. I don't believe it's a pest anemone as mine didn't split and I was only able to keep it alive for a year.
Good luck.
Found these in my chaeto today. Good? Bad? Or just ugly?
Beneficial amphipods.
got tons of those snails in my cube, just interested if anyone knows what type of snail this is.
