Here's some sort of purple colored tubes that came on a ricordia frag. They are directly to the left of the coral. Any ideas what it is?

I was told these are zoas.
I was looking at Majano and this could be the same.
Any help would be appreciated.
They came in on the rock of course.

Hi, new to the site and to the salt water tank world. I purchased a red sea max already established and now i'm noticing some strange legs coming from my live rocks. Should i be concerned as it looks like very thin all leg spiders

What color? Probably either brittle stars or bristle worms, both beneficial scavangers.

Any ideas how to get rid of it? My entire tank has turned white and looks like snow because of them.

My guess would be spirorbid worms. These are just harmless filter feeders that usually show up in an abundance in new tanks. As the tank matures though, usually the population will decline. I wouldn't worry about them too much.

this take is almost 4 years old. I'm not worried about them but i have billions of them and all my rocks are white. I swear they popped up in a matter of weeks.

They maybe spirorbid worms, if so how do i get rid of them? All my live rock looks like it just snowed in the tank i have so many. About a year ago i had a AEFW outbreak and decided to go SPS free for over a year to make sure they are all gone. Now is time to start stocking SPS and i want to make sure these little guys are not going to cause any trouble.

Wondering what kind of crab this is. About the size of a pencil eraser. Pulled it out of my elegance coral and has been on it for months since I got the coral.
I kept thinking it was part of the coral.

Hey Justin,

The one with the holes is actually a kind of chiton (Cryptoplax). It won't hurt anything. I'll defer on the spongy thing, but it isn't harmful.
