Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

Any ideas what this hitchhiker is? My tank has been up about 4 months now and this appeared after 6 weeks. It has grown slightly, but not much and has not spread at all. It is soft to the touch and did not sting or stick to me. I did have some Aiptasia, which my Peppermint shrimp devoured, but they have not touched this. Any ideas what it is and what I should to with it?

Live Rock Inhabitants

I purchased one very seasoned live rock to seed my new tank. I haven't been able to find a post showing the item on the right in the attachment. It's about the size of a nickel and has a structure that looks a bit like a bush or tree. Can someone identify it for me?

Also, you can see an urchin on the left, also the size of nickel. Does anyone know what kind of urchin? It's all black and the spines are 1/4 to 3/8 inch long.

Thanks!

That's a bristle worm

Some say keep them others say toss them if you can catch them. I never had an issue with them but mine were always well fed.. If they are not well fed they can eat corals

What is it

What is it

I just placed my first ever piece of live rock in the tank I'm cycling and couldn't believe how much more alive it is than I thought it would be.

There are two different cucumber looking things in between the rocks that I'm not sure what they are and what to do with them.

Also there is a picture of something else I'm not sure what it is.

Help

Help

This hard shelled creature was in my live rock. Every now and then he peeps out, looks like tiny snail heads. He sends out spider web like threads and that really closes up the xenia.
