Do you think if I put the rock with the aptasia in the refugium with a pep shrimp he will eat it or I could put them in my qt

I just nuke some RO/Di water in a cup for 3 min and use a marinate syringe.
I draw the RO in the syringe and give the aptasia a blast. Done deal......lmao

This little guy has been hiding in my tank for weeks, if not months now. I always catch just a glimpse of him. Today he wasn't hiding as well. Can anyone identify this crab? Also I want to know if he's one considered reef safe. He had to have been a hitchhiker.

Thanks

Looks like a xanthid species. They are very destructive in a reef tank as they grow. They will eat snails, hermits, some corals and small fish.

Can anyone tell me what this is? It came on a piece of Tonga branch. It's a dark pink color, fleshy looking, and a about a 1/2" in diameter. Possibly a coral maybe? See next post
