Need IDs on snails. I picked them from beach. Can you tell what spec are they and if they are reef safe?

The last 2 pics are the same snail. Others are in the first pic.

1,6,8 and 9 look like cerith snails to me. 7 I bet is a whelk though it could be a nasarius.

This snail hitchhiked onto my live rock, apparently. I have a feeling it might be a whelk, in which case I would have to remove him... Although I think he's pretty cool so I'm hoping it's not:

I have a couple of these, I'm guessing probably a bleached ball tipped anemone? If so, what should I do about them?

Ok so I noticed this white "wart" on the back of one of my snails....but the wart has little tentacles that fan out of it and retract over and over again! Anyone know what this might be?

Found this on my glass, looks like a tiny slug and has a sucker that pops out. Its about 1.5cm

It's actually a kind of bivalve. You can find them in clusters under dead coral slabs. If it doesn't like the place it's in, it will move and hunt a better place. I think yours is looking for a new hiding spot.

Yeah, he won't hurt anything, but he might not survive long-term. They have an odd natural habitat, sealed up under dead coral without any predatory access, in areas that look to be otherwise fairly sterile. There are typically only a few other creatures that favor those areas. It would be hard to recreate that habitat in an aquarium.

The snail IS a whelk, but I can't tell from the pic which one. Dunno about the bubble tip. The clam is a clam (and you could probably eat it) and shouldn't be any problem in your tank. It's one of the species that attaches in an area it likes, but will detach and move if it decides it's chosen a bad location.

The ball nem is fine. I have had them in my tanks for years and they never become a problem. They tend to open at night, don't get large, and stay in the shade.

Maybe the sac of poo is a peanut worm?

Thanks Don, and Kimberly (I assume that's your name). =). Just a couple more questions:

1) I was just wondering about the ball nem, because would there potentially be any issues with them fighting with another coral?

I don't currently have any corals in there, but eventually I will.

2) What should I do about the whelk? I assume he needs to go? I have some snails in there, and he probably won't get along with them, will he?

Kind of a shame, he looked pretty cool.

3) I guess I'll leave the clam be. He has found a good spot he likes, and has stayed there for a while. Will there be any issues with the clam potentially dying and polluting the tank? or would my clean up crew just take care of it?

That's an aeolid nudibranch. They are coral eaters so you'll want to get rid of it.
