is the mini brittle starfish harmful? and does it stay that size. I think I have one in some live rock I put in to get my aquarium cycling. tried to get a pic but whatever I have is a good hider
Thanks for the links. Not sure yet what it is, as the nudi aren't flat like the citrina. Will keep looking... They reproduced like crazy and I haven't seen any major deterioration of corals yet...The first picture just looks like the legs of a small brittle star fish. (harmless) I'm not really sure about those orange slugs. Perhaps these links will help.

Found this snail while out on the boat. Can anyone ID it? It has a hard flap that protects itself once it goes inside the shell. Good or bad?
Quoted for image. Can't help with the snail ID.
S2, those are majanos.

It's a Banded Tulip. They eat clams and other snails. They are very attractive, but you just about need to keep them in a species tank and catch snails to feed them, since they'll eat any snails you have in your cleanup crew.
Cheers,
Don
Hi everyone.
Found those little guys in my tank recently. It's definitely a nudibranch, but i don't know which one...
Doesn't seems to attack any corals directly, as it's roaming around the tank. Even sponges are growing. No algaes either...
Any ideas?
