Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

Ficopomatus enigmaticus (Australian Tubeworm) Good or bad?

Ficopomatus enigmaticus (Australian Tubeworm) Good or bad?

Hello! This is my first post. My husband and I are about a month into getting our 125 gallon aquarium going. Right now, it's mostly rock and two tangs. Last night, I took a flashlight to look for hitchhikers. One little cutie that I found is apparently an Australian Tubeworm. In the wild, this is an "invasive" species, but I haven't read anything bad about it in terms of aquariums. Here's a (bad) photo. Should we leave it alone or take it out? Thoughts? Thanks!

Wow. I can't believe that I'm one day into this hobby and can answer your question (I think). I just this morning researched one of these in our tank. I THINK it is a Ficopomatus enigmaticus (Australian Tubeworm). I started a thread this morning to ask if we should remove it or not, because many sites called it harmless, but I guess it's invasive in the wild. Let me know if you find out otherwise...

Any idea what this is? Came on the live rock I got last night. Slightly deeper color than in the pictures.

Hoping I can get an ID on some stuff that's been popping up in my tank.

This is covering the underside mainly of a few rocks.

These little guys are all over, but I've never seen them do anything.

Bubble algae?

And the dreaded aiptasia

First I think it's a clear sponge. Body shape more irregular than tunicates usually are.
2nd is vermetid snail. Some people (me) find annoying, but not a big deal.
The others I agree.

This guy came in on my rock, though it wasn't visible at first. It's starting to grow now, but still pretty small. I get the impression it's a finger leather but I can't be sure:

(I have to work on getting a good close-up). I'd mentioned finding "purple flower-like" things on one of my rocks, now it's growing all over the rock. I hope someone can see it and help me ID.

Are they a coral? If so, they look like they're going to try to take over.

First thing is so small in that pic it could be anything.
Second, those look like tiny feather duster worms. If so, they'll retract into the rock when threatened.

What is this thing?!?!?!
It looks like a spider with really long slimy legs.

Also my rocks are turning brown, anyone have a scientific name for the algae / slim causing this browning?
