Looks vaguely like anthelia or anthias to me but, its too brown. I'd google aptasia and other nuisance anemones to make sure its not one of them.
I dont see it but those Aptasia are going to sting the crap out of all those beautiful Zoas. AptasiaX those big suckers man.Can someone help me identify this kind of algae? Is it good or bad? In case it's bad how do I remove it?
Thanks![]()

Noticed these little guys moving around along the glass in my crushed coral. I think they were hitchhikers but I would like a positive I'd. They are small and difficult to photo. I was unable to upload the movie because of the format so i uploaded photo to my YouTube. https://youtu.be/P8Wrhli-DZI
Just want to make sure these little fast buggers are not a threat.
Chris
Awesome, thanks!Harmless munnid isopod.
I'm sure you can but i wouldn't waste money on it. I started with dry rocks and got bristle worms from the first frag i put in.Can you buy the beneficial worms etc if you do not start out with live rock?
Hard to tell from pic. Does it move?![]()
Any ideas? About 1/4-1/3 inch long. Just noticed it today.

Then I'd guess isopod. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I'd Google predatory isopods and see if they look similar.Yes, it moves. Now I can't find it, lol.
