Anyone know what this is?

Anyone know what this is?

Hello everyone. I recently bought a mushroom coral on a chunk of live rock. The rock itself has a light blue covering of something that feels like tissue of some sort. It also excretes mucus. Can anyone help me identify this.

Caught a look at it after dark and it was extended out about 3" from the sand When extended it for sure looked like a bristle worm

10 years ago when I first ran this tank bristle worms were bad and you had to get rid of them. Now I'm reading that they are good ??

For the most part I’ve always thought they were beneficial. Some say they aren’t when they get big. Others say when in doubt take it out. Me personally, just a small irritation if I brush up against them so they don’t bother me

Tiny Snails or Worm?

Tiny Snails or Worm?
