I recently purchased a very large BTA for my pair of clowns and to my dismay, it wandered around my tank for the first month I had it, wreaking havoc on my SPS.
My water parameters were perfect and my lighting was more than sufficient. I've kept many different anemones and I've never had a problem like this. So I started thinking, "what's different this time?"...the only thing I could come up with was the size of the nem vs the size/amount of rock I had.
I believe that the nems foot was so large that it couldn't find a suitable spot to plant it's foot! I bought a clay pot for $.50, placed it in there, and it hasn't moved for a month.
Also, moving it around it much easier this way and it keeps it somewhat isolated from my other corals. Thought it was worth a share!
